Four persons, including a child, died today when the car in which they were travelling rammed into a stationary lorry in neighbouring Dharmapuri district, police said.
A man who was driving the car, coming here from Bengaluru, was seriously injured and had been hospitalised, they said.
The mishap occurred near Gundupatti, killing three women and a child on the spot.
