Four persons were killed and 35 others injured today when a bus fell into a ditch near Chennagiri, about 50 km from here.
Police said the private bus was bound for Davangere from Chennagiri.
Three victims died on the spot while another one succumbed to injuries at Chennagiri government hospital.
The injured have been admitted to Chennagiri government and district hospitals here, police said.
