4 killed in road mishaps

Four persons,

including a woman, were killed in separate road accidents in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district today.

Two bikers, including a woman, were killed in Dwarsuni ghat road on NH-49 under Bangiriposi police limits when a lorry dashed against their two-wheeler from behind, police said.

One of the deceased was identified as Bhagaban Sinku (40), a teacher in Jamda primary school, while the woman remained unidentified, they said.

In another incident, two youths died on the spot near Titia on Baripada-Udala road under Khunta police limits when their motor-cycle collided with a dumper, police said.

The deceased were identified as Ranjan Kumar Gaana (34) and Nandan Kumar Salungi (28).
