4 landmines recovered in Jharkhand

Four powerful landmines were today recovered in Latehar district, the police said here.

The explosives, each weighing 30 kg, were planted near the Tubed river under Sadar police station, Superintendent of Police Anup Birtheray said.

They were planted with an aim to target the security forces during anti-naxal operations, he said.
