Four alleged liquor smugglers were among 10 people arrested from different areas here, the police said today.
All the arrests were made last night from different areas of Noida and Greater Noida, they said.
Greater Noida police arrested a man and recovered 44 bottles of smuggled liquor from him. Another man was arrested in Greater Noida with 48 cartons of smuggled liquor, the police said.
Expressway police arrested a man and recovered three cartons of smuggled liquor from him.
Dadri police arrested a man and seized 240 quarter bottles of smuggled liquor from his possession.
Police also arrested a man from Bisrakh in Greater Noida and recovered one kilogramme of narcotic substance from his possession.
Two vehicle thieves were arrested from Sector 20 and two stolen motercycles recovered from them, the police said.
A vehicle thief was also arrested from Jewar area and a stolen motorcycle was recovered from him, they said.
A criminal wanted in connection with the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act case was arrested from Sector 39.
A man wanted in connection with a murder case was also arrested by Surajpur police.
