Four liquor smugglers were arrested from two different police station areas and 230 quarter bottles of smuggled liquor seized, police said today.
Dankaur police Sub-Inspector Suresh Pal Rana arrested liquor smuggler Yusuf from Reelkha road last night and seized 30 quarter bottles of smuggled liquor.
Sub Inspector Nawab Ahmed arrested another liquor smuggler and seized 100 quarter bottles of smuggled liquor.
Jewar police also arrested two liquor smugglers and seized 100 quarter bottles of smuggled liquor, they said.
The arrested were identified as Sunil and Jainu. All arrested liquor smugglers have been booked under Excise Act and sent to jail.
