Four Maoists were today arrested and weapons were seized during a CRPF-Shashtra Sima Bal joint operation on the borders of Ranchi and Gumla districts, police said.
The operation launched on the borders of Ranchi district's Bero and Gumla district's Bharno areas by the joint team of the CRPF and Shashtra Sima Bal, Ranchi's Senior SP Prabhat Kumar said.
The arrested Naxalites were identified as Sikander Oraon, Gandura Oraon, Sunny Oraon and Visweshwar Oraon - all hail from Gumla district, Kumar said.
