Four Nepali nationals were arrested at the international airport here while attempting to board a flight to Dubai allegedly on forged no-objection certificates, police said today.

The four, working here, were arrested yesterday when they tried to leave for Dubai on tourist visas using the forged NoCs, they said.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar told PTI that police were looking into the role of unauthorised agents in the forgery of the NoCs.

Cases had been registered against the four Nepalese for offences including cheating and forgery under the Indian Penal Code.

As per immigration rules, Nepalese visiting Gulf countries from India for work purpose should have an NoC issued by the Nepal embassy in Delhi, police said.
