Four members of a family were today killed when a dilapidated building collapsed due to incessant rains near Old Railway station, police said here.
Deepu Upadhyaya (50), his wife Shubhlata (45) and two daughters Harshita (14), Ankita (16) were killed when their house collapsed this morning, they said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
Senior officers visited the spot and District Magistrate Anil Kumar Dameley has assured financial assistance to their kin.
