4 Pakistanis drowned in Nile in Egypt

At least four Pakistanis drowned and three others missing today after a boat carrying 13 people capsized in the Nile river in Egypt, a security official said.

Six persons have been saved by authorities soon after the incident took place early this morning in the world's longest river.

The nationalities of the other persons were not immediately known. A search operation was launched for the three more missing persons.

The cause of the accident was not yet known.

The Nile, a major north-flowing river in northeastern Africa, is 6,853 kms long.
