4 persons booked in connection with gang-rape case

Four persons have been booked in connection with an alleged gang-rape of a 26-year-old girl in Shamli district, police said today.

The incident had taken place two months ago at Jhinjhana town, when the victim was allegedly gang-raped by two youths Rashid and Mobin, police said, adding, they were aided by two girls in the crime.

A case was registered against the two accused youths and two women identified as Reshma and Imrana yesterday under section 376 and 120 B of IPC, they said.

The accused are absconding, they said.
