Four pilgrims, including a child, were killed and seven injured when two jeeps collided head on in Nagaur district of Rajasthan in the wee hours today, police said today.
The incident took place near Budel village when a jeep carrying 12 people to Ramdevra temple in Jaisalmer district collided with another jeep travelling from Ramdevra to Jaipur, SHO Panchudi police station Chittar Singh said.
Three persons died on the spot while one died in hospital.

The deceased have been identified as Sharda (21), Bali Devi (38), Bhugana Ram (17) and Rachna (3). They were travelling in the jeep which was going to Ramdevra temple from Sunari village in the district, he said.
Six of the injured are being treated at the Nagaur district hospital, while one has been referred to a Jodhpur hospital, the SHO said.
