4 robbers held

With the arrest of four persons,

Delhi police today claimed to have busted an inter-state gang of robbers having reward of Rs 25,000 each on their heads.

Hemant alias Hanumant (31), Imran (28), both residents of Shakurpur, Afsaroon Choudhary (32), a resident of Ghaziabad, in UP and Arun Kumar (31), a resident of Mukundpur, were held, police said.

A 9mm pistol, .32 bore pistol, live cartidges, daggers, knives, house-breaking tools, 12 mobile phones, surgical gloves, masks, adhesive tapes, wires, ropes, chili spray cans, three two-wheelers and a car were recovered from their possession, N Gnana Sambandan, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North West) said.
 

All the four accused are wanted in a number of cases of robbery, dacoity, extortion and murder, he said.
