Four youths, who allegedly teased a woman at Salt Lake Sector V area were arrested, police said today.
All the four accused, in mid-20s, were arrested late last night after the woman, an air hostess by profession, lodged a complaint at the Bidhannagar Electronics Complex Police Station against them for allegedly making "comments intended to outrage her modesty", they said.
The incident happened at around 7.30 PM yesterday when the air hostess was passing by and the four youths who were in their car allegedly stalked her and also uttered abusive words, a senior police officer said, quoting her complaint.
The woman then blocked their car at Webel crossing and called up the police station for help, the officer said.
"Based on her complaint, we have arrested the four who are students of a private college," he said, adding that they would be produced in a local court today.
