40-year-old woman surrenders after murder of her paramour

Angered by her paramour's decision to marry, a 40-year-old woman allegedly murdered him with a stone, police said.

The incident came to light when the woman, a divorcee, surrendered at Jaihindpuram police station here today.

They said the 30-year-old advocate, was found murdered at his house in the city a couple of days back with his head smashed with a stone.

Investigations revealed that Jayanthi was against the marriage of Ramachandran with any other woman following a quarrel erupted and she murdered him after serving him liquor, police said.
