Around 400 different types of dogs, including imported breeds, will be on display at the 54th and 55th All India All Breeds Championship Dog Show, scheduled here on December 20.
Organised by Coimbatore Kennel Club, the show will have the participation of the breeds like Chihuahua, Lhasa Apso, Belgian Shepard, Pointer, Poodle, Mudho, Hound, Great Dane, Min Pin, and other major breeds across the World, Club vice-president Ardhanari told reporters here today.
Participation of sniffing dogs from Tamil Nadu Police Dog Squad will be, as usual, the highlight and major attraction of the show, he said, adding, there will be dogs in the age group of six months to nine years.
Jose Homem De Mello from Portugal, Derrisk Seow from Malaysia and Rajendran M Salvi from India are judging the shows, he said.
Last year about 350 dogs participated in the dog show, Ardhanari said.
