The 41st India Knit Fair to showcase the Autumn, Winter and Mid-summer collection 2016, which will be held here from October 7.
The three-day fair will display a wide variety of knitted apparel products and cotton blended garments. The items on display will be mostly high fashion ladies trendy dresses, knitted T-shirts, skirts, blouses and knitwear, India Knit Fair Chairman A Shaktivel told reporters here last night.
Nearly 100 buying houses, agents and 40 buyers are expected to participate from Australia, Canada, Israel and Serbia, besides Japan, Singapore, UK, USA, South Africa and UAE, he said.

With more use of synthetic fabrics, manufacturers would be able to come out with a wider range of artifacts, including winter wear and swim wear, among others, thereby giving value addition to their portfolio, he added.
The fair will be inaugurated by Geetha Muralidhar, Chairman and Managing Director, Export Credit Guarantee Corporation, Mumbai, in the presence of Virender Uppal, Chairman, Apparel Export Promotion Council, the joint organisors with Tirupur Exporters Association, Shaktivel said.
