45-year-old man dies of swine flu in Indore

A 45-year-old man died of swine flu taking the toll due to the H1N1 virus infection in the city hospitals to 33 this year.

Asha Pandit, district in-charge of Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) today said the man, a resident of neighbouring Ujjain district, who was being treated here for H1N1 died at the government run MY hospital today.

Of the 105 patients tested positive for swine flu in different hospitals of the city this year, 33 have died so far, she added.

Of the 33 deceased, 13 hailed from other districts, she added.
