A 45-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death in his sleep at Basaida village in the district last night, police said today.
Din Mohammad was sleeping in his house last night when three assailants entered the house and stabbed him to death, they said.
The body has been sent for post mortem, police said, adding a case has been registered and hunt is on to nab the culprits.
In another incident, a youth missing for a month was found dead in a canal at Kadhla town of Shamli district, police said today.
