At least 46 people, including a militant commander and 14 Afghan nationals, were arrested today during counter-terrorism raids in this northwestern city of Pakistan, police said.
The personnel of Special Police Unit of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police conducted a raid in Firdous Market and arrested Younis who was associated with militants outfit Lashkar-e-Islam. A pistol was confiscated from his possession.
The Police nabbed at least 45 other suspects, including 14 Afghan nationals during counter terrorism raids carried out in Peshawar's suburb areas.

The suspects were shifted to undisclosed location for interrogation.
