The two-day 4th annual Anti- Trafficking in Persons Conclave beginning tomorrow will bring together key stakeholders to build a network against human trafficking.
"India and the US are partners in this fight. These conclaves are held together by a common underlying thread to build a network of champions against human trafficking," US Consul General Helen LaFave said here today.
Addressing a press conference ahead of the conclave, she recalled US President Barack Obama and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meeting in January and their commitment to combating human trafficking.

The conclave would be hosted by US Consulate General, Kolkata and NGO Shakti Vahini, and would inaugurated by LaFave, Jharkhand Welfare minister Louis Marandi and HRD minister Neera Yadav.
The conclave would bring together key stakeholders at the local, regional, national and international levels from Bangladesh, Nepal, Burma, France, the United States and India, according to a press release.
