4th edition to generate double the business on last edition

The 4th Edition of Auto Show 2015, beginning here from December 11, is expected to generate a business of Rs 600 crore to Rs 700 crore, almost doubling the business happened during last edition.

With 150 Stalls, the 3rd edition has generated a business of Rs 300 crore and the three-day edition this year, with more than 170 stalls is expected to double the business touching nearly Rs 700 crore, the Coimbatore Motor Parts Dealers Association (CMPDA) Auto Show Chairman, R Sivakumar told reporters here.

The purpose of the show was for the technical interaction between the manufacturers and importers with dealers, distributors, technicians, consumers and students, so as to update the latest innovations in automobile industry, he said.
 

The show will cover spare sparts and accessories for light,medium and heavy commercial vehicles, cars, tractors, two-wheelrs, fuels, lubricants, fuel conversion systems, tyres, battery units, brakes, clutches, workshop tools and auto finance, Shivakumar said.

The exhibitors are from Delhi, Jaipur, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Hosur, Chennai and Coimbatore, he said.
