As many as 5.27 lakh basic savings bank deposit accounts have been opened in Andhra Bank branches across the country as a part of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan scheme.
"All our 2,147 branches have organised camps. Kits containing passbook, Ru-Pay card and Financial Literacy Material were handed over on August 28 for the Basic Savings Bank Deposit account holders. In all, at Andhra Bank 5.27 lakh Basic Savings Bank Deposit accounts opened across the country," the bank said in a release here.
