The violators were booked in past 72 hours during a special drive by the traffic department, DIG (Traffic) Jammu region Shakeel Ahmed Beig said here today.
The drive against violation of seat belts and sub-standard helmets will continue till such violations are put to an end, he said, adding that strict action will also be taken against those indulging in triple riding and stunt biking.
Directions have been given to policemen deployed in Gandhinagar area to pay special attention towards wrongly-parked vehicles, especially in Gole Market, Apsra road, Aquaf market and Trivani Nursing Home areas, he said.
