A 5.8-magnitude earthquake jolted Qiemo County of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region today, authorities said.
The epicentre of the quake was monitored at a depth of 8 km, China Earthquake Networks Centre, (CENC) said.
No reports of casualties or damage have been received yet, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
