Two businessmen and their three workers have been arrested for allegedly kidnapping a finance company employee to recover the money they had paid to the firm for getting loan, police said today.

The businessmen, Neeraj Verma and Arjun Dhawan, were arrested based on a case registered at Kalkaji police station in connection with disappearance of Vinod Kumar Kamat who worked at Success Financial Service, said Mandeep Randhawa, DCP (south east).

Police have also arrested Verma's employees Harshit Arya and Rahul Vats, and Dhawan's employee Indrjeet Arya in connection with the case, he said.

The accused told police that they had given large amounts to the proprietor of the finance company, Satish Dhingra, for obtaining loans. But they did not get the loan amounts.

On September 5, the accused reached the office of the finance company in Kalkaji to take back their money from Dhingra. But, Dhingra was not present so they kidnapped Vinod and confined him in Verma's factory in Greater Noida from where he was recovered yesterday, he said.
