Five persons have been arrested in connection with the robbery of 90kg copper scrap from Swaroop Nagar last month, police said today.
The accused, armed with knives and iron rods, entered into the house of a scrap dealer, Tej Singh, in Burari on the night of August 28 and took away 90kg copper scrap and other household items.
A case of dacoity was registered by the police and investigation was taken up.

"The accused -- Rajesh, Dharmender Singh, Nagender Yadav, Manje Kumar and Dinesh -- were apprehended by a Crime Branch team near railway line in Siraspur village last week," said Ravindra Yadav, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch).
The looted copper and a tempo used to carry it have been recovered.
The gang leader, Rajesh, was involved in 15 other cases of robbery and burglary, the officer said.
