Five persons were today arrested for their alleged involvement in the smuggling of poppy husk, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of police officials raided a state-owned godown in Bawal town where they nabbed the five accused.
Police seized 86 quintals of poppy husk and recovered two country-made pistols and eight live cartridges from the accused. Two mini-trucks and two cars were also impounded following the raid, police said.
