Authorities say five children were killed when a fire engulfed their Texas mobile home and partially collapsed the roof, which made rescue attempts impossible.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office confirmed the deaths yesterday afternoon. The names of the children haven't been released.
Emergency personnel arrived shortly after 5 am (local time). Yesterday, at the home in Edna, 160 km southwest of Houston.
