Five persons were today killed and 20 injured when a truck collided with a tanker in Kakori area here, police said.
All the injured were rushed to a hospital where Mahaveer (30), Chandrapal (40), Kapoor (22) and an unidentified boy were declared brought dead while one Sukhram (18) died during the treatment, they said.
The tanker was impounded and its driver is absconding, police said.
