Arun Dogra (INC), Meenakshi Dogra (INC covering candidate), Sukhjit Kaur (BJP), Harsimrat Sahi (BJP covering candidate) and Bhupinder Singh of Peoples Party of Punjab filed their nominations, an election office spokesman said.
The bypoll was necessitated due to the death of BJP MLA Avinash Sahi recently. The party has nominated his widow Sukhjit Kaur.
