Five members of a
gang were arrested in Golanthara area near here, police said today.
The gang members were nabbed from Valiagada, about 20-k from here yesterday and a car, a mouser pistol, some ammunition and two swords seized from them, they said.
The accused persons were identified as Sunil Behera, Sibaram Sethi, Sushant Sahu, Rabindra Sethi and Subansh Lenka in and around Berhampur.
Several criminal cases were pending against them who were suspected to have assmbled to commit a crime, police said.
