5 hurt in Ontario automotive plant explosion

Five people are injured after a fire and explosion at an automotive plant in Ontario.

The Magna plant says today's incident took place on a manufacturing line, and five employees have been taken to the hospital for "further evaluation." None are in life-threatening condition.

The Newmarket plant's 200 employees have been evacuated as investigators assess the scene.

The Ministry of Labour and the Ontario Fire Marshal's office have been called in to investigate.
