Five persons, including at least three Nepalese nationals, were today killed and 27 others injured when a Delhi-bound bus from Nepal was hit by a truck near Bhopatpur on National Highway 28, police said.
While four persons died on the spot, 29 others were rushed to a hospital where the bus driver, whose nationality is yet to be ascertained, died during treatment, they said.
There were 41 passengers on the bus which was coming from Butwal in Nepal.
Those killed include bus driver Nazir Ahmad (30), truck owner Nafis (45), Teju (12), Dhanu Prasad (38) and Khum Bahadur (30), they said, adding that the condition of two injured was said to be critial.
