5 Jat activists released from hospital

The district administration today discharged all the five protesters from the civil hospital who were "forcibly" lifted from the Mayyar village while observing fast-unto-death demanding OBC status for the Jat community.

The members of All India Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti (AIJASS) yesterday demanded that all the five agitationists, who were lifted by the police yesterday from the dharna place, should be released from civil hospital.

Ram Bhagat Malik, spokesman of the Samiti said here today that all the five protesters would continue their fast till the acceptance of their demand for 27 per cent reservation in government jobs for the community.
