Five persons were killed and 13 others injured when a bus collided with a car on a highway in east China's Zhejiang Province, authorities said today.
The accident took place when a bus rolled over after colliding with a car at the Ningbo section of the highway linking Hangzhou and Ningbo cities yesterday, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
Two passengers died on the spot while three others passed away at the hospital later.
Thirteen others were injured in the accident, the report said, adding they are in a stable condition.
All the passengers on the bus were staff from a local hotel. They were heading back to the city from a scenic spot when the accident occurred.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
