Five persons, including two minor girls, were killed and 25 others were injured in a head-on collision between a private bus and a dumper near Amarkot village on Indore-Jaipur national highway today.
"The mishap took place around 35 kms away from Agar Malwa district headquarters when the Susner-bound bus collided head on with the dumper killing five persons on the spot and injuring 25 others," Superintendent of Police (SP) R S Meena told PTI.
Four critically-injured persons were taken to Ujjain for treatment, while the remaining ones were being treated at a hospital in Agar Malwa, the officer said.

The drivers of both the vehicles were also injured in the incident.
The deceased were identified as Seemabai Prajapat (27), Nikitabai Dholi (12) Ramkunwarbai (50), Babli Verma (7) and a male victim, who is yet to identified.
A case has been registered by the police in this regard and further investigations were on, he added.
