Five persons were killed and seven injured when a truck carrying labourers overturned in Leh district of Jammu and Kashmir's Ladakh region, police said today.
The incident occurred yesterday near Shayok Rong in Nyoma area, 150 kms from Leh town.
Four persons died on the spot in the incident, while eight others sustained injuries, a police official said.
One of the injured succumbed to injuries at a local hospital this morning, the official added.
The deceased included the driver of the truck.
