Pakistan police killed three "target killers" in an shootout in this eastern city that also left two policemen dead, officials said today.
According to the officials, a police team raided a house in Valancia Town yesterday after getting a tip-off that some criminals were present there.
Some men present in the house fired indiscriminately at the police team, critically injuring several constables.

The police team issued an alert and nearby police stations set up pickets at the entry points of Valancia Town.
Police finally traced the three suspects and killed two of them in a shootout while the third managed to escape.
Three injured policemen were taken to Jinnah Hospital, where two of them succumbed to their injuries.
Police identified the two two dead criminals as Muhammad Alamgir and Asif Baloch alias Niazi.
They said the suspects were "target killers" and wanted by Karachi Police for about 50 crimes, including target killing, extortion, kidnapping for ransom and robbery.
