A speeding car rammed into a passenger bus coming from the opposite side today, killing at least five persons in northwest Pakistan, police said.
The driver of the car carrying five persons from Peshawar to Dera Ismael Khan lost control over the vehicle on Indus highway due to heavy downpour and smashed the car into a passenger bus near Khamdan Chowk, they said.
All the passengers in the car died on the spot, police said.
Police said two persons got injuries in the accident and were shifted to district headquarters hospital where their condition was stated to be stable.
