Five people, including a foreign woman, were killed and 51 others injured today when a tourist bus plunged down a roadside cliff in Thailand, police said.
The nationality and identity of the deceased foreign tourist was not immediately known, they said.
The driver of the vehicle, travelling from northern Udon Thani to Chiang Mai town, lost control and the bus plunged down a roadside cliff in Phitsanaluk province, they said.

Besides the foreign woman, the four dead, all Thais, included two women, a man and a seven month old baby.
One of the injured passengers was a foreign woman who is four-month pregnant, police said.
Rescue units took more than two hours to extricate the bus passengers from the mangled wreckage.
