5 mobile phones recovered from Ambala jail

Five mobile phones were recovered from the toilet of a barrack in Ambala central jail here, police said today.

During a search campaign last night, the mobiles were found hidden in the toilet of the barrack, they said.

On the complaint of jail authorities, a case against unidentified inmates was registered, they said.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Surender Pal Singh constituted a special investigation team to probe the matter after the recovery of mobile phones, they added.
