Patna High Court acting Chief Justice Hemant Gupta today administered the oath of office to five new additional judges of the court.
The five are Justices Arvind Srivastava, Vinod Kumar Sinha, Sanjay Priya, Arun Kumar and Sanjay Kumar.
The oath was administered at a simple ceremony at the Marble Hall of the High Court which was attended by judges, Advocate General Ram Balak Mahto, senior lawyers, lawyers and officials of the court.
With this, the total strength of the High Court has increased to 32 from 27 against the sanctioned strength of 56.
