The Assam Rifles tonight said that
five men of NSCN(K), involved in the June 4 ambush which claimed lives of 18 soldiers of a military convoy, were arrested.
The five men were arrested from different places during search operation in the past two days and handed over to the NIA for further investigation, an AR release said.
Suspected Khaplang faction of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN) on June 4 killed eighteen Assam Rifles jawans and left four injured.
