Five policemen, including an Assistant Sub-Inspector, were injured when villagers in Lapuwa village here pelted stones at them.
One Assistant Sub-Inspector and four other policemen had gone to the village following information of a clash between two groups of priests yesterday when some unruly elements pelted stones at the police, police said.
"Mild force was used to control the mob. The injured were admitted to a local hospital where they were given primary treatment," they said, adding, ten persons were arrested in this connection.
