A 5-year old girl was allegedly kidnapped from the railway station here by an unidentified person today, police said.
Monu Balmiki, a resident of Birhod village in Bhiwani district, along with her son Divya and minor daughter was waiting for a train when an unidentified youth approached them at the railway station, they said.
According to the complaint, the youth after taking Monu's permission, took her children to purchase them some snacks and they returned soon after.
Few minutes later, he took Monu's daughter to buy her sweets but did not return back.
The woman informed the GRP and district police, who launched a search for the girl.
The footage of CCTV camera of the shop where the youth took the children is being examined to identify the kidnapper, police said.
The incident comes close to a similar incident reported on May 4 when a 7-year old girl was allegedly kidnapped by an unknown person from the railway station here.
