Five youths were killed this morning when the car they were travelling in skidded off the road and dashed against a tree near Kijrabad, 30-km from here, police said.
The ill-fated car was coming from Mujafatpur village, where the youths had gone to attend a wedding. Police said that the driver lost control at the wheel, leading to the tragedy.
The deceased were identified as Ankit, Satish Kumar, Jaspal, Amit Kumar and Yogendra Kumar. A sixth youth, Vishwas, was injured in the mishap and has been hospitalised, police said, adding that all the youths were in their 20s.
