After eating food at a ceremony they complained of nausea and abdomen pain, police said.
Some of them reached the hospital late last night while many visited the hospital today.
Most of the patients of various age groups were given primary medicines and a few were hospitalised for observation, the police said, adding, the matter was under investigation.
