A 50-year-old man was killed while his son sustained serious injuries when their bike collided with a vehicle coming from the opposite direction here, police said today.
The incident took place last evening following which the father-son duo were taken Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital at Faridkot where Ajmer Singh succumbed to his injuries, they said.
The deceased was resident of Sekha village here while his injured son has been identified as Resham Singh, police said.
The driver of the SUV managed to escape from the scene, they said, adding a case has been registered and investigation is underway.
