52 cases of murder of senior citizens in last 3 yrs: Govt

As many as 52 murder cases of senior citizens have been reported in the national capital in last three years, Rajya Sabha was informed today.

Union Minister of State for Home Hansraj Gangaram Ahir said that this year till March 15, five murder cases of senior citizens have been reported and all of them have been worked out.

Last year, 19 murder cases were reported and investigation is pending in three cases.

In 2015, 11 murder cases have been reported, of which probe in two are still pending, said the minister.

In 2014, 22 murder cases were reported and five are yet to be solved.
